Grease wins 21 Spotlight Awards A huge congratulations to the cast of crew of our autumn musical, "Grease" for winning a tape 21 awards through the Spotlight program and Hennepin Theatre Trust. Washburn's musical won the highest award, Outstanding Accomplishment in a Musical, which sends them to the Orpheum Theatre in June to perform in the awards showcase. Only 10 schools out of the 125 involved get this honor to perform on the Orpheum stage. Other big honour winners were Madeline Huiting, Mary Bair, and Hattie Tschida for "Best Actor in a Musical" as well as Ryan Rowell, Maddie Barnhill, and Lillian Richman for their roles in technical theatre. Congratulations!!

Tech Tips for Distance Learning and Across WHS Class of 2022 students Nathaniel Mersy and Ben Anderson created a YouTube Channel called WHS Tech Tricks with tech fox tutorials for students to help Millers navigate altitude learning. This channel is an IB Diploma CAS Projection, and only one case of the fabulous work our Millers exercise as function of the IB Diploma Programme.
